In the final day of the campaign, the bitter rivals focused intensely on mobilizing their supporters and appealing to undecided voters in the crucial swing states that are expected to determine the outcome of the 2024 U.S. election.
In the key swing states, Trump is leading in six out of the seven battlegrounds.
Donald Trump stated that he would be prepared to concede defeat after Tuesday's vote "if it's a fair election," while reiterating his concerns over the use of electronic voting machines. However, he expressed strong confidence in his chances of reclaiming the White House, after casting his ballot on Election Day in Florida during one of the most contentious U.S. elections in decades.
If the results are as close as the polls suggest, a final outcome may not be known for several days, heightening the tension in an already deeply divided nation.

Presidential Results: US Likely to Embrace More Isolationism, Says S. Jaishankar
The United States is expected to become more isolationist regardless of who wins the 2024 election, according to India's Minister of External Affairs, S. Jaishankar.
Speaking at an event in Canberra while U.S. voters were still casting their ballots, Jaishankar suggested that the election outcome would not alter what he described as a long-term trend in U.S. foreign policy.
"Since the Obama administration, the U.S. has become increasingly cautious about its global commitments," he said, citing America's reluctance to deploy troops abroad and the withdrawal from Afghanistan under President Joe Biden as key examples of this shift.
